Topco Associates LLC announced today that Robin Vogel has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Center Store Procurement. In her new role, Robin will be responsible for Topco's Center Store Procurement and Logistics departments. She will also oversee Topco's global direct sourcing program.
Most recently, Vogel was with Sara Lee Corporation in Chicago where she served as the company's Vice President of Procurement Operations since 2005 and was responsible for setting the company's overall global procurement strategy. Prior to that time, she was Sara Lee's Director of Supply Management. Vogel began her career with Nestle Foods Corporation, working in various supply chain and marketing roles.
Vogel will report to Frank Muschetto, Topco's Executive Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer. "Robin is a great addition to the Topco leadership team," Muschetto said. "Her breadth of experience and proven capabilities will enhance our ongoing efforts to enable Topco's membership to realize a sustainable competitive advantage."
Vogel holds a master's degree in business administration from Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in industrial and management engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
