QUEST PARTNERS
The commodities trading adviser named Nigel Ekern as president. He was earlier chief operating officer and co-founder of hedge fund Noroton Capital Management.
BARCLAYS CORPORATE
The banking solutions providing arm of Barclays named Paul Emney as chief financial officer. Emney joins from Barclays Capital, where he was chief operating officer of structured capital markets and private equity businesses.
CITIGROUP
Citi said Andrey Boykov joined the Russia & CIS team in London as a private banker. He was previously with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Monaco as an international financial advisor.
It also said Sarah Courtney will join Citi Private Bank UK as vice-president by mid-January. She has earlier worked at JP Morgan and Barclays Wealth.
HARRIS WILLIAMS & CO
The middle-market investment bank said Julien Darmon joined as a managing director in London. He worked in the investment banking group of Robert W. Baird both in the UK and the United States.
VONTOBEL ASSET MANAGEMENT
The firm named Andrew Raisman as executive director, head of UK/Ireland Institutional Business. He was previously at Hermes Fund Managers.
SCOTTISH WIDOWS INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP
The company appointed Terence Nahar as investment director. He joins from Royal London Asset Management where he was head of derivatives.
