Klarius Group sponsored rising star Sara Williams has been awarded the Bob Brain Memorial Trophy as the 'Highest placed lady driver', having finished a fantastic 21st overall at this year's first major rally of the season, the Wyedean.
Competing against over 180 entrants Sara went on to improve her position throughout the day, her characteristic fast, but smooth and composed style keeping the position safe and the car intact.
Sara's comment, 'My time was 47:34 for the event which I'm pleased with; it shows that I am competitive, but also gives me room for improvement. It was a tough race, but the conditions were good this weekend and the car held up well, bearing in mind we had two blown turbos in the penultimate race of last season, which robbed us of a possible win. It is great to have a high profile sponsor such as Klarius QH and I'm pleased to say the components held up well!'
