ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/22/11 -- The new ownership group has named The Marketing Directors the national sales and marketing team for Marina Grande on the Halifax, located in Holly Hill, Fla. The property is now owned and operated by a joint venture co-sponsored by Tarpon Partners -- an affiliate of South Florida based The Swerdlow Group -- and New York City based Glenmont Capital Management, LLC who plan to revitalize the property. The project represents a sellout of $128 million.
The sales and marketing effort for the homes -- now referred to as MG on the Halifax -- will be spearheaded by industry experts and Marketing Directors' executives David Tufts, Betty Harbourt and Uri Vaknin. Veteran Florida real estate professional Kristie T. Reinert, director of sales, will head the sales effort along with sales specialists Jan Ferguson and Cindy Allen. Shahn Douglas, director of marketing, will oversee all marketing initiatives and programs to re-launch MG on the Halifax. Construction is scheduled to begin soon on a new 12,000 square-foot clubhouse that will include a large gym, a billiard room, a 20-seat movie theater, resort style pool and a 32-slip marina.
