ECB's Nowotny sees no more euro zone bailouts after Portugal

BUDAPEST, April 7 (Reuters) - Portugal is the last euro zone country to ask for a bailout, the European Central Bank's Governing Council Member Ewald Nowotny said on Thursday.

Asked by reporters ahead of an EU finance ministers' meeting on Friday if he though Lisbon would be the last one to ask for emergency funding from the euro zone and the International Monetary Fund, Nowotny said: 'Yes, definitely so.'

Before Portugal's request on Wednesday, also Greece and Ireland received euro zone and IMF financial support in 2010.
