WESTLAKE, Ohio, April 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Scott Fetzer Company announced today that Vince Nardy has joined the company in the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer and Director of Merger & Acquisitions. Nardy, who will report to Chief Executive Officer Bob McBride, will work closely with the company's operating units to identify acquisition opportunities.

For the past 10 years, Nardy, 52, has been chief executive officer of HDT Engineered Technologies, a Solon, Ohio-based global manufacturer and supplier of mobile soldier support equipment to the U.S. military. Nardy nurtured the company through nine acquisitions, overseeing growth from $16 million in revenue to $500 million. Throughout his 30-year career, he has worked closely with the banking and investor communities to raise both debt and equity funding.
