The global wealth management division of Barclays PLC, has appointed Carole Cheung as managing director, senior client partner, based in Hong Kong, effective 3 May 2011.



DEUTSCHE BANK

The global investment bank appointed Lisa Robins as head of its global transaction banking business for the Asia Pacific region, which will become effective in July.



ARBUTHNOT SECURITIES

The investment banking arm of Arbuthnot Banking Group hired Michael Loungo as a research director, covering financial services.



CANACCORD GENUITY

The wholly owned subsidiary of Canaccord Financial announced the recruitment of Peter Mallin-Jones as director, mining equity research.



RENAISSANCE CAPITAL

The emerging markets investment bank has hired Nothando Ndebele as Head of Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) research.



WEIR GROUP

The company announced the appointment of Melanie Gee to the board as a non-executive director.
