MRG Mortgage Banking Attorney Participates in ABA Panel, Named ABA Real Property Fellow
MRG Document Technologies (MRG), a provider of mortgage document preparation software and loan document packages to banks, credit unions and other lenders nationwide, announced that Christina Jenkins, an attorney with the firm, was recently a panelist at the American Bar Association (ABA) Real Property Trusts and Estate Spring Symposia and has also been named an ABA Real Property Fellow for the class of 2010-2012.
Jenkins was part of a panel at the ABA Real Property Trusts and Estate Spring Symposia in Washington, D.C. in April. She contributed to the panel titled "Origination Changes and Servicing Challenges That Are Transforming the Mortgage Industry," and presented on servicing changes facing lenders. The panel discussed the lending process and legislative changes, the impact of the mortgage industry on residential and commercial real estate law practices and the changing role of the real estate attorney in the closing process. Jenkins was joined by two other panelists.
Jenkins was also recently named a member of the ABA Real Property Fellows program, which encourages the active involvement and participation of young lawyers in Section activities. The program's objective is to provide young lawyers with an opportunity to be involved in the substantive work of the Real Property, Trust and Estate Section, while emerging into future leaders. The Fellowship appointment lasts for two years.
"It is due to our high caliber employees that MRG is able to remain successful and continue to provide its clients with the most up-to-date regulatory changes and the highest level of service and support," said Mike Riddle, managing partner, MRG. "It is extremely important to go beyond just providing document technology, therefore we encourage our staff to take part in educating the marketplace. MRG is proud of Christina and her hard work in educating legal professionals in the mortgage industry."
