Today, BizBash, (www.bizbash.com/nyvotes), the leading trade media for the event industry, announced the nominees for its 2011 New York Readers' Choice Awards, in which readers choose their picks for Corporate Event Planner of the Year, Caterer of the Year, Social Event Planner of the Year, and Event Producer of the Year, among other categories, for the greater New York area.
Nominees include individuals representing companies such as PepsiCo, AOL, the Whitney Museum, Linkshare, ExL PHARMA, and many more. During the recent BizBash West Readers' Choice Awards, celebrities including Maria Shriver and Khloe Kardashian used social media platforms to campaign for their favorite industry professionals.
Winners will be announced at an award ceremony at the BizBash New York Expo on October 19 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in Manhattan. To date, more than 110,000 votes have been collected in similar programs in Chicago, Florida, and Los Angeles. Previous award winners are ineligible to participate.
