INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Christamore House Guild is pleased to announce the 37th annual "Vintage Vegas Fight Night." The black tie optional event takes place at the Conrad Hotel, downtown Indianapolis on Saturday, November 5th and serves as the community center's annual fundraiser.
The evening's festivities will transport partygoers back to the glamorous days when the "Rat Pack" reigned over Vegas and high fashion rubbed elbows with high rollers. The event will showcase the boxing program of the Christamore House in a non-sectioned exhibition. The boxing program has been a unique part of the Christamore House since 1955, with its motto "sweating in the gym rather than bleeding in the streets" holding true still today with these young, dedicated boxers. In addition to the boxing exhibition, attendees will enjoy cocktails, dinner, silent and live auctions, Vegas games, and the opportunity to win a 1 carat solitary diamond, donated by Moyer Fine Jewelers, when purchasing a Frank, Sammy, or Dean Martini.
The festivities will be hosted by Michael "MG" Grady, executive producer and on-air talent for ESPN 1070 The Fan and co-host of "Grady and Big Joe Show." He also serves as emcee for the Indiana Pacers home games. An appearance by the Indiana Pacemates will round out the evening's festivities.
For more than 100 years the Christamore Guild has paired with the Christamore House to provide financial support, volunteer hours and advocacy for those in need and has influenced general welfare of the residents living in the Indianapolis' near westside neighborhood of Haughville. Community support of this event helps fund the unique programs of Christamore House as well as basic necessities of the building heat and maintenance. Tickets to Vegas Fight Night cost $125.00 per person and can be purchased by calling Laura Geske 565-9224.
