NumbersAlive! will launch its early math educational program through a series of events and activities for children pre-K – 5th grade and their accompanying adults at the USA Science and Engineering Festival. Selected as one of 36 festival featured authors, Dr. Klemm, The Numbers Lady, will introduce Team Ten, led by Zero the Hero, as part of her presentation of her initial book, NumbersAlive! Books for Young Travelers: Washington, DC. |

| NumbersAlive! will have two booths at the festival: |
| - Numaginarium tent: a fun and whimsical kids-only space where children can tell stories with the plush numbers and work on number arts projects: Exposition booth 519. |
| - Book and sticker sales and pre-order of plush number toys: Book fair booth 10. |

| NumbersAlive! will also host numerous special events (listed below under "When"). |

Why |
Dr. Klemm, The Numbers Lady, is the global champion of NumbersAlive! and Team Ten. She is on an educational mission to engage and motivate young children to develop a passion for numbers and math. "NumbersAlive!'s innovative teaching approach offers a practical, arts-based learning program that engages children, parents, caring adults and teachers with their real world environment through educational quests," according to Dr. Klemm. It links basic early childhood education curricula to real world experiences and encourages analytical and creative thinking. |
