
ANTURION LIMITED ('Anturion' or the 'Company') Results of AGM, Proposed move to AIM and Board Changes
Anturion, which holds the worldwide exclusive rights and patents for the usage and marketing of a potentiometric sensor (the "Sensor") to detect harmful nitrogen oxides ("NOx") in exhaust emissions in diesel vehicles, announces that, at the Company's AGM held earlier today, all resolutions were passed, with the exception of Resolutions 4 and 5 (in respect of the re-appointments of Ms Notzon and Mr Dahl) which were not proposed.
Alex Borrelli, Chairman, made the following statement at the AGM:
"I am pleased to record the continuing successful development of the Sensor towards commercialisation and the Company expects initial sales orders for evaluation by automobile manufacturers to be generated by the end of the current financial year.
"There have been recent announcements regarding the change of ownership of PLUS Markets Group ("PLUS"). The Company, in conjunction with its advisers, Rivington Street Corporate Finance Limited, has been undertaking preparations to seek admission of all of its ordinary shares to trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange which I consider to be a more appropriate listing platform for the Company and its shareholders. The Company will be providing an update in due course.
"I am grateful to the contribution from Nora Lee Notzon and Tom Dahl each of whom has given notice of their intention to resign from the Board and, accordingly, resolutions for their re-appointments were not proposed at the AGM today.
"I am pleased to announce that John Shaw, financial controller, has agreed to join the Board as Finance Director with immediate effect. I believe that John's knowledge of the Company and his financial expertise will be of great benefit to the Company."
John Richard Shaw qualified as a chartered accountant in 1975 with Touche Ross& Co. In early 1995 he started working with Clifton Financial Associates Plc which was acquired by Talisman House Group Plc, which subsequently acquired Seymour Pierce Limited where John was a corporate finance director and group company secretary. In March 2001, he co-founded CFA Capital Group Plc, a financial services holding company, owning a stockbroker and nominated adviser. In July 2004 he formed Chatsford Corporate Finance Limited which in 2010 was acquired by Webb Capital Plc and changed its name to Webb Capital Advisory Limited.
In addition to his directorship of the Company, John Shaw holds or has held the following directorships within the five years prior to the date of this announcement. John Shaw resigned as a director of Scitech Medical Limited in October 1985which was liquidated in 1986 and was a director of Belasis Business Centre Limited which went into administrative receivership on 31 March 1995 and was dissolved on 13 February 2001.
