WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Grocery stores operator Supervalu Inc. (SVU) said Monday it has named Bill Parker as been the interim president of FARM FRESH Food & Pharmacy, a 43- store division in the Virginia Beach/Norfolk market.
Parker, currently senior vice president of merchandising at FARM FRESH, will replace Gaelo de la Fuente, who is leaving the company to pursue other interests. Parker will assume the new role on September 15.
'Gaelo has been a solid leader who has made several contributions to FARM FRESH'S success, and we wish him well,' said Kevin Holt, president of Supervalu Retail.
