STACKED Wines Now Available In All Eight Southern California Total Wine & More Locations

Finanznachrichten News

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --STACKED Wines is excited to announce the sale of their product in each of the eight SoCal locations of Total Wines & More, America's Wine Superstore and the country's largest independent retailer of fine wine. Locations include Redondo Beach, Northridge, Thousand Oaks, Rancho Cucamonga, Huntington Beach, Laguna Hills, Tustin, and Brea.

STACKED Wines is the sleek and practical "four pack" of stem-less wine glasses that vertically stack to form the equivalent of one full bottle of wine. The award-winning product is packaged in recyclable material made from the company's proprietary technology, Vinoware' - a container that emulates the look and feel of a wine glass coupled with the durability of plastic. Each single-serve container is sealed with a foil top to maintain the freshness of the quality wine inside.

American chef, writer, restaurateur and media personality Mario Batali says, "If you don't drink it all you can't hang out with us!" to his fellow co-hosts on THE CHEW after first-tasting STACKED Wines.

The premium wines are refreshing, fruit forward, and reflect the true flavor profiles for each varietal. The Chardonnay embodies soft citrus notes with a hint of oak, the Merlot boasts a bright red plum flavor with traces of vanilla, and the Pinot Grigio is carefully crafted to offer a delicate yet whimsical taste. All three varietals appeal to the broad tastes of wine lovers of all levels of sophistication. The individually packaged glasses are the perfectly portable and outdoor-friendly solution for on-the-go wine lovers.

"Total Wines & More and STACKED Wines are rapidly growing companies simultaneously making their mark in the wine industry," says Jodi Wynn, VP of Marketing, "We have created an ideal partnership as both companies are committed to delivering innovative products."

STACKED Wines shipped into southern California Total Wines & More store locations in October 2012 retailing for $14.99 with an introductory promotion price of $12.99. For more information please visit www.stackedwines.com.

About STACKED Wines
The idea was conceived as Matt Zimmer, creator and packaging engineer, drank a stale glass of wine from a bottle that had been opened just a few nights before. He knew he could invent a better packaging solution that added a portability factor combined with a stylish design. Zimmer started sketching and STACKED Wines was born. He succeeded in creating a 100% recyclable packaging that not only preserves wine longer but allows wine drinkers to enjoy single serve glasses at home or on the go! STACKED Wines, LLC was developed when Zimmer teamed up with fellow MBA students Jodi Wynn and Doug Allan at the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine. Since 2011, STACKED Wines has redefined both wine packaging and the consumption experience. Today, the innovative company offers wine for simple style, top quality taste and ultra convenience.
