(NYSE:WGO), a leading United States (U.S.) recreation vehicle manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Johnny Hernandez to the position of president of Winnebago Industries Towables, reporting directly to Winnebago Industries Vice President, Chief Financial Officer Sarah Nielsen. Former president Elvie Frey has resigned to pursue other interests.

Hernandez, 56, has over 38 years' experience in the RV industry, and most recently served as vice president of sales and product management for Winnebago Industries Towables. Prior to joining Winnebago Industries, he served as national sales and product manager for Coachmen's Brookstone fifth wheel trailers. Previously, he served as president of Aero Coach, a division of Thor Industries; president, CEO and founder of Frontier RV and Hernandez also spent 26 years with Fleetwood Enterprises, serving in a variety of towable and motor home sales and product planning positions.
