LOS ANGELES, Feb. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Two Southern California student athletes have been named to the 2013 McDonald's All American Games, joining the ranks of high school basketball's elite. Isaac Hamilton of St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower will play on the Boys West Team. Kendall Cooper of St. Anthony High School in Long Beach will play on the Girls West Team. The announcement of their selection aired live during a Selection Show on ESPNU this afternoon. Final Team rosters are available at www.mcdaag.com.
The 36th Annual Boys Game will tip-off on Wednesday, April 3 at 6:30 p.m. PT from Chicago's United Center and will broadcast live on ESPN. The 12th Annual Girls Game will precede the Boys Game, beginning at 4 p.m. PT and will broadcast live on ESPNU. Tickets are available now through Ticketmaster or charge-by-phone at 1-866-909-GAME.

Southland 2013 McDonald's All Americans now join an impressive list of players who have earned their Basketball Rite of Passagetm at the McDonald's All American Games, including: Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Alonzo Mourning, LeBron James, Derrick Rose, Anthony Davis, Candace Parker and Maya Moore.
Net proceeds from the Games will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) for programs that include Ronald McDonald Family Rooms and the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile clinics, which directly improve the health and well-being of children in neighborhoods around the world. The Games have raised more than $10 million for RMHC since 1978. All 48 players will have the opportunity to visit a local Ronald McDonald House® during Game Week in Chicago.
