WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Aruba Networks Inc. (ARUN) Thursday reported a second-quarter GAAP net income of $4.99 million or $0.04 per share, compared to a loss of $11.38 million or $0.11 per share in the year ago quarter.
Non-GAAP net income for the quarter was $27.3 million or $0.22 per share, compared with non-GAAP net income of $19.4 million, or $0.16 per share in the comparable quarter last year. On average, 25 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.19 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Meanwhile, revenue for the quarter was $155.36 million, an increase of 23 percent from $126.27 million in the year ago quarter, while twenty five analysts had consensus revenue estimate of $151.97 million for the quarter.
