WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - SandRidge Energy Inc. (SD) reported that its fourth-quarter net loss applicable to common stockholders was $301.79 million or $0.63 per share, narrower than $388.60 million, or $0.97 per share in the year-ago period.
Adjusted net income for the quarter was $21.5 million or $0.06 per share, compared to adjusted net loss of $5.2 million or $0.02 per share in the comparable quarter last year. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report breakeven per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Total revenues for the quarter rose to $1.34 billion from $373.84 million in the prior year quarter, while sixteen analysts had consensus revenue estimate of $551.11 million for the quarter.
