WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Wind and grid sector solutions provider American Superconductor Corp. (AMSC), Monday lifted its revenue guidance for the fourth quarter. Following the news, shares of American Superconductor rose about six percent in after hours trade.
The company now expects fourth-quarter revenues in a range of $19 million to $20 million. The company's previous guidance for the fourth quarter was for revenue of at least $18 million.
'AMSC has been focused on building a sustainable, profitable business through reduced expenses, minimized cash usage and increased revenue,' said Chief Executive Daniel McGahn.
