WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Crown Holdings, Inc. (CCK) Wednesday reported first-quarter profit of $67 million, down from $90 million in the same period last year.
Net income attributable to the company decreased to $41 million or $0.28 per share from $69 million or $0.46 per share last year.
Adjusted earnings for the quarter was $0.50 per share. On average, 12 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.49 per share for the quarter.
Revenues totaled $1.97 billion, up from $1.95 billion last year. Analysts expected revenues of $2.02 billion.
