HOUSTON, June 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- LNG Central announced today the commencement of its "LNG America Initiative," a platform designed to provide LNG to domestic markets as a clean and economical alternative fuel choice to petroleum.LNG Central will develop infrastructure and obtain LNG supply in order to provide LNG to marine users for bunkering fuel and to domestic users for transportation fuel for high horsepower engines.
As part of the LNG America Initiative, LNG Central will form a new company to own and operate the logistics infrastructure needed to deliver LNG to domestic markets when and where it is needed.
LNG Central has signed a letter of intent with Cheniere Energy, Inc. ("Cheniere") which sets the framework for Cheniere to arrange LNG supply for the LNG America Initiative and become an investor in the new company, subject to mutually agreeable terms.
