HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 06/21/13 -- Magnum Hunter Resources Corporation (NYSE: MHR) (NYSE MKT: MHR.PRC) (NYSE MKT: MHR.PRD) (NYSE MKT: MHR.PRE) (the "Company") is reporting that, on June 17, 2013, the Company received a letter from the NYSE MKT LLC (the "NYSE MKT") (on which only the Company's preferred stock is listed for trading) notifying the Company that the NYSE MKT has accepted the Company's plan to regain compliance with the NYSE MKT's continued listing standards and has granted the Company an extension until August 13, 2013 to regain such compliance.
As previously reported, on May 13, 2013, the Company received a letter from the NYSE MKT stating that the Company is not in compliance with the listing standards of the NYSE MKT due to the Company's previously-disclosed failure to timely file with the Securities and Exchange Commission the Company's Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the period ended March 31, 2013 (the "Form 10-Q"). Accordingly, the Company previously submitted a plan to regain compliance with the NYSE MKT's continued listing standards.
On June 14, 2013, the Company filed its annual report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2012. The Company expects to file its Form 10-Q by the middle of July 2013, prior to the August 13, 2013 deadline set by the NYSE MKT. Upon filing this Form 10-Q, the Company expects to be in full compliance with all NYSE MKT's continued listing standards.
The NYSE MKT compliance plan outlined here does not relate to the common stock of the Company, which is listed for trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
