SHERMAN OAKS, Calif., July 10, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Music for Autism and The Help Group present a free interactive concert for individuals with autism and their families on Sunday, July 14, 1:00 - 2:00pm at The Help Group Autism Center in Sherman Oaks.

The unique one-hour event features "concert time" when audience members are free to respond to music as active audience members; "conducting time" when everyone is invited to conduct the musicians; and "percussion time" when participants are asked to play along on percussion instruments.
The performance, "Broadway Our Way," will feature Scott Harlan, singer, composer, vocal coach, pianist, musical director and performer with a long list of stage, film and television credits. He currently is the conductor and one of the soloists for "The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber," which is now touring the U.S. Julie Garnye has performed on and off Broadway, as well as on film and TV, and will appear later this month at the Hollywood Bowl in "Chicago." Dianne Fraser is an accomplished singer and stage performer who's delighted audiences in California with her hit cabaret show "Part Time Diva" and performed in summer stock and regional theatres around the country.
The performance is free and will take place at The Help Group Autism Center, 13164 Burbank Blvd, Sherman Oaks, CA 91401.
