RICHLAND, WA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/11/13 -- Gesa Credit Union has officially broken ground on two new full service branches in the Tri-Cities. The first new location will be built on Road 68 in Pasco, WA, to replace an existing branch office located in a retail center also along Road 68. The second location to be built will be Gesa's thirteenth branch and will be located at the intersection of Duportail Street and Kennedy Road in Richland, WA. Both branches will incorporate environmental sustainability in their construction and operations. Both branches will be Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certified facilities.
"We have been providing outstanding member service throughout Eastern Washington for the last 60 years, and the opening of these branches extends our ability to provide the convenience that our members have come to expect," said Don Miller, Gesa Interim President and CEO. "When we choose to build a new branch, we give careful consideration to location. We have selected these locations in west Pasco and south Richland based on the feedback we have received directly from our members."
Both branches will also feature on-site mortgage and commercial lending officers, LPL Certified Financial Consultants, touch-screen kiosk technology to access more information about credit union products and services, and a drive-up, deposit-taking ATM will be available twenty-four hours a day. Both locations expect to begin serving Gesa members in early 2014.
