PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., July 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The storied golf courses at BallenIsles Country Club, where many golf legends originally qualified for the PGA Tour will again showcase golf's next generation of male and female rising stars at the 3rd Annual BallenIsles Junior Cup July 20 - 21, 2013.

BallenIsles historic championship East Course, where legendary players like Jack Nicklaus, Julius Boros and Sam Snead won PGA Championships, will be the fitting setting for the third year of the Ryder Cup format tournament.
In the invitation-only event, 36 accomplished junior golfers from the local community will compete Saturday in a "Partners Better Ball" and "Alternate Shot" match play. The Sunday format will be individual matches on 18 holes.

Players received a Cleveland Golf Stand Bag, Golf Shirts, Hats, and Srixon Golf Balls during a demo day with Cleveland Golf and Srixon, that presented the juniors with an opportunity to try the latest in golf equipment, while a pairings party determined an "East" and "West" team.
