WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Seattle Genetics Inc. (SGEN) Wednesday said second-quarter loss narrowed to $6.9 million or $0.06 per share from $17.2 million or $0.15 per share in the same period last year.
On average, 13 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.19 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Revenues totaled $73.6 million, up from $48.8 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $57.72 per share.
