ADVENTURE-SEEKER VISITING EUROPE AS ONE OF SIX WINNERS OF DOUBLETREE BY HILTON'S DTOUR OF A LIFETIME COMPETITION
DoubleTree by Hilton Sending Six Winning 'DTourists' on Worldwide Adventures to be Documented on User-Generated Travel Community Called DTour

| WHAT: | Chicago local Jenn Winter will be traveling to Europe as part of the trip she received as a winner or "DTourist" of DoubleTree by Hilton's DTour of a Lifetime competition—a search for six people ready for the adventures of a lifetime. | |||
| In May 2013, DoubleTree by Hilton launched DTour (http://www.doubletree.com/dtour), an interactive YouTube channel created in collaboration with Google, which offers travelers a whole new way to plan and share their trips. With the launch of DTour came the first custom, user-generated contest held on YouTube by a hotel brand, the DTour of a Lifetime competition. | ||||
| Now that six winners have been selected, they each received a travel assignment to one of six continents where DoubleTree by Hilton properties are located to experience DoubleTree by Hilton hospitality, meet locals and curate their own travel tips and stories for DTour. Each ambassador will hit the road for weeks at a time, based on the travel assignment. | ||||
| Starting in Spain, Jenn will hop from one DoubleTree by Hilton property to another experiencing the people, culture and local fare of Emporda (Spain), Cappadocia (Turkey), Istanbul (Turkey), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Dublin (Ireland), Chester (U.K.) and London (U.K). She'll be diving off the coast of Spain, riding a hot air balloon over Cappadocia, exploring historic sites in Istanbul, bicycling to markets in Amsterdam, connecting with bloggers from around with world in Dublin and volunteering in London, all the while publishing daily anecdotes, photos and videos on DTour, her social media channels (@ALadyAway & www.facebook.com/ALadyAway) and her personal blog, A Lady Away (http://aladyaway.com/). | ||||
