HANGZHOU, China, Oct. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --The 15th West Lake International Expo Hangzhou, China officially opened in Hangzhou on October 12. Themed "Innovative West Lake Expo, Beautiful Hangzhou," the 29-day event selects 50 exhibition and festival programs from four major segments: trade and technology, cultural experience, tourism and leisure as well as traditional programs. The expo is expected to receive not less than 8 million visitors and generate 10 billion yuan (approx. US$1.6 billion) in trade business, US$1 billion in contracted foreign investment and 10 billion yuan (approx. US$1.6 billion) in domestic investment.
