WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - TTM Technologies Inc. (TTMI) Wednesday said third-quarter loss narrowed to $7.7 million or $0.09 per share from $208.3 million or $2.54 per share in the comparable quarter last year.
Adjusted earnings for the quarter was $11.6 million or $0.14 per share. On average, six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.17 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Sales improved to $338.7 million from $338.0 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $347.0 million.
Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, the company has forecast earnings in the range of $0.18 to $0.24 per share, with revenues ranging between $350 million and $370 million. Analysts currently expect the company to earn $0.26 per share on fourth-quarter revenues of $386.77 million.
