BEIJING (dpa-AFX) - Home Inns & Hotels Management Inc. (HMIN) Thursday reported third-quarter profit of 108.0 million Chinese yuan, or 1.16 yuan per share, up from 33.7 million yuan or yuan per ADS in the same period last year. Earnings in dollars totaled $17.6 million.
On a per-ADS basis, earnings were 2.31 yuan, compared to 0.73 yuan last year.
Adjusted earnings for the quarter was 180.9 million yuan or 1.85 yuan per share. On a per-ADS basis, adjusted earnings totaled 3.70 yuan. On average, three analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $3.05 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Revenues improved 8.8 percent to 1.74 billion yuan, or $284.2 million, from 1.60 billion yuan last year. Analysts expected revenues of 1.64 billion yuan.
Looking ahead, the company continues to projects full-year revenues in the range of 6.35 billion yuan to 6.50 billion yuan last year. Analysts currently expect full-year revenues of $6.01 billion yuan.
