
NEW YORK, Nov. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cornerstone co-CEOs Rob Stone and Jon Cohen today announced a wide-ranging global expansion, encompassing a heightened profile in the UK, as well as expansion of existing campaigns into new markets around the world. The UK expansion involves both a move to new headquarters in the Shoreditch area of London's East End and the addition of five new senior hires. A full-service global creative agency, Cornerstone is known for its top shelf award-winning campaigns for Diageo, Pepsi and Nike among others.
In making the announcement, Stone and Cohen also signaled the expansion of key creative and marketing activations for Converse and Diageo, the world's largest producer of spirits. Projects include campaigns and activations south of the border in Mexico and South America, as well as substantial escalation of campaigns beyond the UK and Ireland into France and Eastern Europe.
The new hires for the UK office, which has seen 100% growth since opening in 2011, will report to Ollie Oshodi, recently named as business director. New additions to Cornerstone UK are: Adam Hanim, content manager, who previously served at Converse and MTV; Fiona Ghobrial, senior account manager, previously at Domino; Joe Strinati, senior account director, formerly at FRUKT; and in January, Karen Piper, digital director, formerly head of digital marketing at Columbia Records and owner-managing director of her own agency, Radar Maker.
