WHAT: | Verizon's Dia de tus Suenos gives individuals the opportunity to live the day of their dreams with their favorite celebrity. Hundreds of people entered from across the country for a chance to live like a musician, chef, athlete, actress or television personality. |
The San Antonio area winner, Miguel Rojas Hernandez, will spend a day with Chef Johnny Hernandez. The first in his family to attend college, Miguel is studying at a culinary school to become a chef. The Dia de tus Suenos experience is both an inspiration and a dream come true. | |
Also at the event, Chef Johnny will announce the Verizon Thanksgiving food drive to benefit the San Antonio Food Bank. Verizon Wireless will present a check of $2,500 to the food bank to support its work for the San Antonio community. | |
