HONG KONG (dpa-AFX) - The Bank of Japan will on Tuesday release the minutes from its October 31 monetary policy meeting, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
At the meeting, the central bank kept interest rates unchanged at 0.10 percent.
Japan also will see October results for corporate service prices and November data for small business confidence. Service prices are expected to rise 0.9 percent on year after gaining 0.7 percent in September. The small business confidence index saw a score of 50.8 in October.
Singapore will provide October figures for industrial production, with analysts expecting an increase of 1.4 percent on month and 10.0 percent on year. That follows the 3.7 percent monthly increase and the 9.3 percent annual jump in September.
Hong Kong will announce trade data for October; in September, imports were worth HKD359.84 billion and exports were at HKD317.83 billion for a trade deficit of HKD42.01 billion.
