SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Dec. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --It's been 22 years since McLaren was last in Arizona. The team arrived in Phoenix with untested and unassembled pieces of a new Formula One racer, the MP4/6. The car was completed just hours before the first session of the 1991 Formula One season, but the new McLaren would prove unstoppable in the hands of racing legend Ayrton Senna who promptly left the competition behind. McLaren has never lost in Arizona, and now, we're back.
McLaren Scottsdale is now open for business. The dealership will hold a grand opening celebration in the near future, but interested parties are invited to visit the new 10,000 square foot facility and browse the inventory of new and pre-owned exotic cars currently in stock.
McLaren cars are characterized by innovative F1-inspired technology like brake steering, electronically controlled suspension damping and carbon fiber chassis construction. Thanks to these advancements, the McLaren Mp4-12C Coupe and 12C Spider are some of the fastest and most capable vehicles on the road. The newest model, the McLaren P1', produces 903 horsepower and has a starting price of around $1.15 million.
