TOKYO (dpa-AFX) - Japan will on Friday release final October figures for industrial production, setting the pace for a modest day in Asia-Pacific economic activity.

New Zealand will provide November figures for non-resident bond holdings, and also see December results for the ANZ consumer confidence index. Bond holdings were up 64.8 percent in October while the index gained 5.0 percent to a score of 128.4 in November.
Singapore will announce October numbers for retail sales and Q3 data for unemployment. In September, retail sales were up 0.5 percent on month and down 5.9 percent on year. The unemployment rate in the second quarter was 1.8 percent.
