CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - Japan will on Thursday see final October numbers for its leading and coincident indexes, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
Little change is expected from the preliminary reading that suggested scores of 109.9 and 109.6, respectively.
Japan also will release October's all-industry activity index, plus November figures for department store sales. The industry index is expected to ease 0.3 percent on month after adding 0.4 percent in September. Nationwide store sales were down 0.6 percent on year in October, while Tokyo store sales added an annual 1.2 percent.
The Reserve Bank of Australia will provide November data on foreign exchange transactions; in October, transactions were worth A$648 million.
The Philippines will see November figures for current account; in October, the account saw a surplus of $5 million.
