WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Corrects headline to show Q4 Adj. Profit Tops Estimate:
TIBCO Software Inc. (TIBX) Thursday posted fourth-quarter net income attributable to the company of $44.5 million, or $0.27 per share, compared to $48.8 million, or $0.29 per share in the comparable quarter last year.
Adjusted earnings for the latest quarter were $70.8 million, up from $70.7 million in the prior year period. Earnings per share for the latest fourth quarter were $0.42, same as last year. On average, 21 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.39 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Total revenue for the latest fourth quarter was $315.46 million, up from $296.53 million last year, while nineteen analysts had consensus revenue estimate of $312.45 million.
