RenaissanceRe Holdings Set to Join the S&P MidCap 400

NEW YORK, Dec. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: RNR) will replace Lender Processing Services Inc. (NYSE: LPS) in the S&P MidCap 400 after the close of trading on Thursday, January 2. S&P MidCap 400 constituent Fidelity National Financial Inc. (NYSE: FNF) is acquiring Lender Processing Services in a deal expected to be completed on or about that date pending final approvals.

RenaissanceRe Holdings provides reinsurance and insurance coverages and related services. Headquartered in Pembroke, Bermuda, the company will be added to the S&P MidCap 400 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Reinsurance Sub-Industry index.
