GRAYSLAKE, Ill., Jan. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- A new year has arrived and many property values are increasing and thus restoring faith in homeowners about their property. Many people are also selling their homes and with so many homes on the market a home really needs to stand out to get purchased so some updates are probably needed. Now when it comes to putting money into a home the big question is where do I start and who do I hire to do the work.
The Home Building and Remodeling Expo was created for the purpose of helping homeowners find the contractors and specialists to get the job done right. With over 200 companies that set up displays and exhibits, a homeowner can really do a lot of comparing of the different products that each company offers. Many of the companies also offer big expo exclusive discounts to help the homeowners pull the trigger and fulfill their home's bucket list.
Aside from all of the information provided by the exhibits and displays, many professionals will be providing education on the different aspects of having a home built or remodeled. To name some of the many: Kelly Edwards from HGTV will be performing hour long performances on one of the three different demonstration stages; she will also be doing a book signing for her new book. Superior Corp. will bring The Home Depot® Get it Installed crew that will also be giving tons of do-it-yourself demonstrations and tips for many different projects.
To lighten up the hardcore educational atmosphere, prizes can be won, food can be sampled, cooking shows from Chef Paul Guerrero can be seen and of course the kids activity center. Parents don't have to worry about their kids getting bored at this Expo because there are plenty of activities for kids of all ages. NASCAR simulators, balloons, designing stations, and the big attraction will be the activities. Kids will be able to build birdhouses, paint and other fun stuff.
The Home Building and Remodeling Expo will take place January 18-19, 2014 at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Grayslake, IL. Parking is free and admission can be paid at the door or discount tickets can be purchased on Groupon or Amazon Local. More about the expo can be found at TheHomeBuildingExpo.com.
