WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Noble Corp. (NE) Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income attributable to the company of $174.1 million or $0.68 per share, compared to $127.6 million or $0.50 per share in the same period last year.
Adjusted earnings for the quarter was $210 million or $0.82 per share. On average, 33 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.82 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Revenues increased to $1.17 billion from $966.37 million last year, while 23 analysts expected revenues of $1.16 billion.
