CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - China will on Tuesday release year to date December figures for industrial profits, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity. In November, industrial profits were up 13.2 percent on year.
Japan will see December numbers for corporate service prices and January figures for small business confidence. Corporate service prices are expected to rise 1.1 percent on year after adding 1.0 percent in November. The small business confidence index saw a score of 51.1 in December.
Australia will see November results for the leading and coincident indexes from the Conference Board, plus December numbers for the NAB business confidence survey.
In October, the Conference Board's leading index was up 0.5 percent and the coincident added 0.2 percent. The NAB index for business confidence in November saw a score of 5, while business conditions were at -3.
