CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - Indonesia will on Wednesday release Q4 numbers for gross domestic product, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
In the third quarter, GDP was up 2.96 percent on quarter and 5.62 percent on year.
The Philippines will see January figures for consumer prices and December numbers for producer prices. In December, CPI was up 0.7 percent on month and 4.1 percent on year. In November, PPI was up 0.7 percent on month and down 4.2 percent on year.
South Korea will see January results for its manufacturing PMI; in December, the PMI saw a score of 50.8.
Australia will provide January results for the AiG Performance of Service Index; in December, the index saw a score of 46.1.
Japan will release December data for labor cash earnings; in November, earnings were up 0.5 percent on year.
Finally, markets in China and Vietnam remain closed for the Lunar New Year holiday. Vietnam re-opens on Thursday and China is back on Friday.
