WATERFORD, Mich., Feb. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Step up to the plate and swing for the fences at the second annual Michigan Baseball Expo, Saturday, February 8 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. It's happening at Baseball City U.S.A., 2220 Mall Drive in Waterford, Michigan.Admission to the Expo is $10 for adults, $5 for kids for an all-day pass. No pre-registration is required. The event is the largest and most comprehensive baseball convention in the Midwest. Sponsored by Baseball Youth magazine, the event will feature skills competitions, coaching clinics and the opportunity to demo the latest in top-name baseball equipment. There will also be a miniature Wiffle Ball Stadium for kids to show off their Home Run Swing.

"It's a great time to gear up for summer by joining us for a day of baseball heaven that the whole family will enjoy. Last year's expo attracted 1,500 participants." The Expo is open to kids, ball players, parents, coaches and all other baseball fans.
Baseball City U.S.A. boasts 60,000 square feet of baseball bliss. The Michigan Baseball Expo day's line up includes:
- Featured Clinician - Pat Murphy, Triple A Manager of the San Diego Padres and former Head Baseball Coach at ASU and ND.
- Coaching Clinics -- featuring top accredited baseball professionals instructing on the finer points of coaching.
- Equipment Row - try out the newest products on the market by manufacturers such as Easton, Rawlings, Nokona Gloves, Louisville Slugger, G-Tees, Marucci, Shoeless Joe and others.
- Interactive - demo the newest gear in one of six batting cages, tee stations and live tunnels.
- Skills Competition - youth players from each age group will be able to compete in many baseball skills challenges.
- Baseball Youth Town hall Meeting - hot stove discussions on top youth baseball issues with an All Star panel of baseball leaders.
- Baseball Youth Experience Tour - featuring premiere traveling youth Fan fests.
