WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - ARRIS Group, Inc. (ARRS) reported a fourth-quarter net loss of $2.8 million or $0.02 per share, compared to net income of $14.8 million or $0.13 per share, last year.
Adjusted net income in the latest fourth quarter was $0.54 per share, up from $0.28 per share in the previous year quarter. On average, nine analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.45 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Net sales soared to $1.20 billion, from $344.00 million last year. Analysts expected revenue of $1.16 billion for the quarter.
