AURORA, Ohio, Feb. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --The runway lights were aglow last evening, as Technical Consumer Products, Inc. ("TCP"), held a lively fashion show event to benefit The American Heart Association's "Go Red Campaign," to help raise money in the fight against women's heart disease. Headlined by TCP's "Red Man Group," attendees watched as fourteen brave men - yes, MEN - pranced across the stage wearing some of today's hottest dresses, hairstyles (wigs!) and accessories, high heel shoes and all!
"The guys were really good sports with all of this," said Caroline Oldsey, TCP's Director of Human Resources, and the coordinator of the event. "Everybody had fun and enjoyed a wonderful show, and our guys really 'strutted their stuff' on stage for a very worthy cause!"
TCP's "Go Red" fashion show was the culmination of the company' two-week campaign of events designed to raise money and awareness about women's heart disease. In all, TCP raised more than $14,000 for the charity from this activity. TCP has been a strong supporter of the AHA for more than five years, and this effort remains a key part of the company's commitment to community service.
