CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - Japan will on Friday see preliminary January results for its leading and coincident indexes, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
The leading index is expected to show a score of 112.4, while the coincident is called at 114.6; both saw scores of 111.7 in December.
Australia will see February numbers for the Performance of Construction Index from the Australian Industry Group. In January, the index came in at 48.2.
Malaysia will release trade data for January. In December, imports were worth 56.3 billion ringgit and exports were at 65.7 billion ringgit for a trade surplus of 9.40 billion ringgit.
