BEIJING (dpa-AFX) - Japan is scheduled to release a batch of data on Monday, highlighting a modest day in Asia-Pacific economic activity.
On tap are final Q4 GDP numbers, January current account data and February bank lending figures and results for the eco watchers survey.
A slight downward revision is expected for the GDP from last month's preliminary reading, to 0.2 percent on quarter and 0.9 percent on year from 0.3 percent on quarter and 1.0 percent on year.
The current account deficit in December was 638.6 billion yen, while bank lending in January was up 2.5 percent on year. The current eco survey came in at 54.7 in January, while the outlook was at 49.0.
China will release February data for new yuan loans and aggregate financing. Loans are expected to total 722.1 billion yuan, down from 1.320 trillion yuan in January. Financing is called at 1.306 trillion yuan, down from 2,580 trillion in the previous month.
New Zealand will provide house price data for February; prices were down 2.4 percent on month in January, while sales dipped 4.3 percent on year.
