BEIJING (dpa-AFX) - China Lodging Group, Ltd. (HTHT) Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net income attributable to the company of 58.5 million Chinese yuan, or $9.7 million, up from 18.2 million yuan in the comparable quarter last year.
On a per-share basis, earnings were 0.23 yuan, or $0.04, up from 0.07 yuan last year. Earnings per ADS was 0.93 yuan, or $0.15, compared to 0.29 yuan last year.
Adjusted earnings for the quarter was 64.8 million yuan or 0.26 yuan per share. This translates to $10.7 million or $0.04 per share. Adjusted earnings per ADS was 1.03 yuan or $0.17.
Revenues increased to 1.12 billion yuan, or $185.0 million, from 883.20 million yuan last year. Analysts expected revenues of $1.11 billion yuan.
Looking ahead to the first quarter, the company targets revenues in the range of 1.03 billion yuan to 1.05 billion yuan. Analysts currently expect first quarter revenues of $1.07 billion yuan.
