CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - Australia will on Wednesday release February numbers for building approvals, headlining a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
Building approvals are expected to fall 2.0 percent on month but surge 27.9 percent on year after adding 6.8 percent on month and 34.6 percent on year in January.
Australia also will see job vacancies data for February; in January, vacancies were down 1.7 percent.
New Zealand will provide commodity price figures for March; in February, prices were up 0.9 percent.
Japan will release monetary base numbers for March; in February, the base surged 55.7 percent on year.
