CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - Japan will on Monday release preliminary February numbers for its leading and coincident indexes, setting the pace for a light day in Asia-Pacific economic activity.
In January, the leading index was up 0.5 percent on month and the coincident added 2.5 percent.
Australia will see March numbers for job advertisements, as well as results for the Performance of Construction Index from AiG. In February, job ads jumped 5.3 percent on month, while the construction index saw a score of 44.2.
New Zealand will provide house price data for March; in February, prices were up 9.3 percent on year.
Finally, stock markets in China and Thailand are closed on Monday for Ching Ming Festival and Chakri Day, respectively. They will re-open on Tuesday.
